AO Veterinary (AO Vet) is the first surgical AO specialty established in 1969 as a Swiss association with international membership. AO Vet concentrates its efforts in the continuous development and improvement of new implants and instruments, AO Vet courses for small and large animals, as well as AO Vet fellowships. AO Vet is also supportive in clinical studies for later application in humans.
